Meet Julie

Hi! I’m Julie Chapla, Main Thrill owner and organizer. I live in Sonoma County with my husband Seth and two daughters Lulu and Millie. I work with clients all over the Bay Area, and I would love to meet you! A few things that thrill me - removing clutter, creating systems, helping others find more space and joy at home, and stepping back to take in the view of a completely cleared off surface. I believe that simple doesn’t have to be boring and minimal doesn’t mean nothing. I want your home to feel contained and peaceful so that you can reclaim your time and attention for whatever matters most to you. Let’s chat!

Services

Home organizing - kitchens, offices, bedrooms, closets, bathrooms, playrooms. Tell me what you need! Moving? I can pack or unpack your home. Downsizing? Sometimes you just need permission to let things go only keep what you need and love. Remodeling? This a perfect time to declutter and refresh your items. Maintenance? We can set up a regular schedule. Special project? You’ve piqued my interest.

It can feel strange to let someone into your home and go through your things. My service is always 100% confidential and judgement free. Your mess is really not that bad.

Organizing process overview

We start with a complementary phone consultation to clarify your goals, project size, and scope.

I will provide you with a proposal. My service includes the hours in your home organizing, guidance on space layout and decluttering, planning and procurement prior to arrival, and dropping off e-waste and donations at the end of the project.

With a signed proposal, we will schedule dates and times.

Once I am onsite, my process is simple and satisfying.

  1. Clear the space - I create a blank canvas.

  2. Edit - This is where we will work together on what stays and what goes.

  3. Organize and categorize - I create categories and modules that make your life easier.

  4. Make it pretty - There is a layout and flow that makes sense. Your items are in their place with breathing room.

  5. Maintain and adjust - I will check in within two weeks to be sure that the space works for you.
